MMO - PPC Affiliate Marketing - Things to Avoid As a PPC Publisher |

PPC affiliate marketing can be very profitable for many affiliates, especially if you setup websites specifically to earn money as a PPC publisher. The most popular PPC network is Google AdSense and is a great way to add an additional stream of income to your affiliate business. However, there are some things you want to be aware of when it comes to PPC affiliate marketing. This article will go over what you should know and how to avoid losing commission from your main affiliate offer. As an affiliate marketer, your goal should be to get as many eyes to view your main affiliate offer as possible. Of course, adding some extra income streams to your website is a good idea, but when done correctly. The most common thing that many affiliates do is publish Google AdSense ads on their websites. This can be both good and bad. There are some major drawbacks to publishing PPC ads on your website that you'll want to avoid. First of all, you'll need to know that when someone clicks on one of the PPC ads, they'll be taken away from your website. Most likely you'll lose that visitor for good. That's okay, though, because you'll earn a small amount of money every time one of the ads are clicked. The problem with PPC affiliate marketing is that you're only getting paid anywhere from a few cents per click up to a few dollars per click. That's not bad if you can generate a decent amount of clicks every month. But, is it worth trading those few cents or dollars for higher commissions you would earn from making a sale from your main affiliate offer? This is something you really want to consider. Another thing to consider is that you don't want the ads competing with your main offer. Remember, you want to get as many people to check out your affiliate program or product as much as possible. This should be first and foremost, while your PPC ads should be secondary. One thing you can do is filter the ads that get shown on your site so that they won't compete with your main offer. Most of the time this is possible and something I highly recommend doing so that the ads don't detract with your main offer and any other affiliate offers you may be promoting. Keep all of this in mind if you consider PPC affiliate marketing or are already publishing PPC ads on your website.
