AFF - How to Generate Income With Affiliate Marketing

Learning how to generate income with affiliate marketing is not difficult at all, but the problem is that most people get too hung up on the "details" and want to get everything perfect on their first try. Unfortunately, they don't realize that the most important thing when you're starting out is ACTION. Keep this in mind as I describe my two favorite ways you can begin to practice how to generate income with affiliate marketing.

1) Article Marketing

Article marketing is my favorite type of affiliate marketing because it's FREE. That's right. You don't have to pay for your traffic so your return profit will always be 100%. The key to succeeding with article marketing is to write articles that are relevant to your audience and post them to an article directory site. For example, if you're promoting a company's jewelry, write an article about a specific kind of jewelry that the audience might be searching for. There are obviously many kinds of jewelry, and making it more specific will help your reader keep interest. Your keywords in your article should be about that specific product you're promoting. After you do this, post a link in your article that leads them to your blog or any other website you may have that further promotes the product. Finally, make sure have a link on your blog that sends them directly to where they can purchase the product. Now you've made a sale! Keep doing this on a continuous basis and you can expect a nice stream of income coming your way.

2) Forums

When I started to learn how to generate income with affiliate marketing, I began with making small posts in forums. This is a great way to "get your feet wet" with affiliate marketing. Although it might not get you as many sales as submitting articles, being active in forums is very helpful because as you read other peoples questions or comments, you can learn about what people are looking to buy, and that leads to sales! Then you can maybe post about something you know about the product others are talking about and post your affiliate link that sells that product. Believe it or not you can actually get some sales here and there with your forum posts and if not, you will still receive replies to your posts from people interested in learning more about what you're trying to sell. I still spend time on forums today to find what people are searching for and I combine that with article marketing to make profit! It is a very effective way to do research on what consumers want to buy.

Like I stated above, learning how to generate income with affiliate marketing is not SUPPOSED to be hard, but many newbies find it difficult because they don't see instantaneous results. I believe everyone goes through this, and this happened to me as well. The best advice I can give is to be patient and never give up. It won't be long before the money starts rolling in and YOU'RE the one teaching others how to generate income with affiliate marketing!
