Have you been plodding along in your affiliate marketing business just barely making enough to justify its existence? Maybe, you are making enough for a little extra money, but not enough to free you of your J.O.B. If you have been looking for a way to take it to the next level and finally break through with some real earnings, I'm talking about earnings to allow you to work when you want, be where you want with whomever you want, then listen up, I have some recommendations that can change the way you look at your affiliate marketing forever. Take heed of these four suggestions and you will never look back.

1. Leverage - You must discover what exactly is taking up the most of your time and find someone else who can, with a little instruction, take care of that task for you for a reasonable price. Think about that and let it sink in. If you could free up say 50% of your time that you spend on menial tasks that aren't directly related to making you more money, then you could spend more time running your business. Like finding new high converting programs to promote, opening a new traffic stream that you haven't previously explored or learning a new skill to help you in your business. This is utilizing other peoples talents in a positive way to free up your time and creativity.

2. Only promote items that have more than one offer - In other words, the retailer you are promoting for should have a front end offer, which you get a commission on, and a back end offer which you also get a commission on. It is very difficult to make a serious amount of money just promoting front end products and not getting a commission on the back end. Unfortunately, there are a lot of merchants who do this routinely. Often times the merchant either breaks even or loses money on the front end, the back end is where all the money is made and you deserve your part of this if you are promoting the product and doing all the traffic driving to his/her website.

3. Promote Higher Value, Higher Price Items - People are willing to pay good money for a product if it provide a solution to a specific problem or can enhance their life in a positive way. Make sure the product provides greater value than the price and they will always pay the price when they see this. I know this to be a fact, mainly because I have done it several times and am almost never disappointed.

4. Stay Focused - Don't try to promote 10 products at the same time, or at least, don't start promotions for them at the same time. This will only lead to overload and frustration and none of the promotions will receive the attention they deserve. This will give you direction in your business and provide you with kind of a road map to where you want to go.

Try these four things and get set in your mind the goals you want to accomplish in your business and drive towards them. The only thing standing between you and whatever you want to accomplish is "you". Once you really understand this, nothing can stop you from succeeding beyond your wildest imagination.
