Affiliate Mistake #1: Not knowing how to generate traffic. Getting people to actually see your affiliate offer is very important in order to succeed with affiliate marketing. The main problem is that most affiliates only have a small trickle of traffic coming to their website or blog. In order to get more traffic you should write articles, use classified ads, make video product reviews, etc.

Affiliate mistake #2: Not building a targeted list of email subscribers. This is the most common mistake that I see affiliate marketers make, and it will cost you a ton of money in the long run. Having a large, responsive list is almost like having a license to print money on demand! Just make sure to provide your list with valuable content and resources, and sell to them no more than twice per week. Your email list very well may become your most valuable asset online, so be careful to not "oversell."

Affiliate mistake #3: Not networking with other marketers within your niche. Affiliate marketers who operate independent of anyone else often times struggle. It helps to have people within your niche that you know and trust, because these people can help build your business! You should be networking with these people, because by doing this you will increase your customers guaranteed!
