GA - Building An AdSense Site That Will Lure Visitors In

1) Create The Website
The easiest way to do this is to set up a simple blog. My preferred way is to install WordPress onto some suitable hosting, but if you want to do it for free, go to Blogger and create a blog there. Why a blog? Well, it is a very easy way to manage all of the necessary content and systems such as WordPress are very highly search engine optimised. A great way to get going.

2) Do Some Keyword Research
This is the key step to what we are doing here. Get it wrong and you will never succeed. Get it right and you at least stand a chance. Using the Google Keywords Selector Tool, or a similar tool of your choosing, start trying to find a huge set of suitable and connected keyword phrases. You are looking for keywords that have a reasonable amount of search engine traffic.

Print these out and then use them in some test searches to see if all of the sites that are listed seem to have worked on their own SEO. If so, then you could find you are competing heavily for traffic and you might be better off looking for easier to handle keyword terms.

3) Start Writing Posts
Here is the clever bit to this system. Pick out some of the chosen keyword phrases and write a post for each of these and publish each to your blog. Now, start writing a new set of posts. You could do a mixture of rewriting the existing posts (from scratch) or writing more detail about the points in each post. These new posts can be published to your blog and then syndicated to as many other places as you can find.

4) Now Start Earning From AdSense
At first you don't want to rush in to trying to make AdSense cash. In fact, let it wait so until there is some traffic and your readership is maybe even reading a page or two on your website. Sites that are just 'made for AdSense' can lose out in the search engine war, so don't rush this bit. At first the traffic will be low so not much will be lost if you only add the vital AdSense blocks to the layout when the traffic is there. But you should only add adverts in 2 blocks on your website. Too much advertising will scare off the visitors and possibly the search engines.

5) Keep At It
Keep writing for new keywords and writing further posts that link back to the main posts. By writing often you are making sure there is plenty of content and plenty of search engine interest.
