1. Greed

In a world of scarce resources we prefer more for less. We cannot consciously accept less over more. If you were offered $100 or $ 10, you'd be crazy to accept $10 instead of $100. Human wants are endless. Once one need is satisfied, it no longer motivates us. We are only motivated by a need that is not satisfied.

2. Laziness

Human beings are lazy and value their time, energy and effort and look for the easiest way to do anything. Nearly all time managements courses are aimed this. The entire technological development is aimed at addressing this problem.

3. Impatience

We all want everything in the fastest time possible. We pay money to someone who can give us something faster than the next guy. To most people instant gratification is no longer fast enough.

4. Vanity

Each person has an ego. Each person is highly impressed with himself. Everyone sees the world from his or her own perspective. He or she is the most important person on earth. The cosmetic, home furnishing, automotive industry is largely based on this concept.

5. Selfishness

Only you can experience happiness or unhappiness. It's only you who can feel pain, hunger or thirst. Every action is taken from and individual point of view. Every act taken is essentially selfish. Even people who dedicate their lives to what seems to selfless service do so for a selfish motive. Otherwise human nature will eventually take over and take them away from this.

6. Ambition

Every action you take is aimed at improving yourself. It's only when you feel dissatisfied that you act. When you feel unhappy and can see a better way out, then you decide to get from one place to the next. However most people though dissatisfied with their internet marketing efforts, often do not see how to get to where they want.

7. Ignorance

We do not know everything there is to know about Internet marketing. There is so much to learn and little time to do it. Every human action is taken with a certain degree of uncertainty. One of the biggest human desires is to reduce the degree uncertainty by increasing the quantity and quality of information.

Now, we have 6.7 billion human beings who are lazy, vain, ignorant, ambitious, greedy selfish and impatient. No wonder there are wars, technological advancements, environment degradation, senseless murders, and moral decays.

However all human beings want physical, financial, emotional security. People want comfort, leisure, love, respect, fulfillment, and power.

As a smart marketer these are your hot buttons. Your massage that shows people how to fulfill their desires will be received well. Though these look obvious, I have seen many marketers are not aware that people are lazy. They give their customers hard work. And the results of course can be predicted.
