Are you looking to find low competition keywords perhaps even in a competitive niche? In order to attract traffic to your website or articles you really need to get your content to be ahead of the competition on the search engines. One way to do this is to find suitable long tail keywords that will attract your buyers. To find these keywords you really need to get inside the mind of the buyer at the time they are looking to purchase the items you are trying to sell. Try to think like the buyer and what they will be searching for. In high competition niches, often the only way you will get onto page 1 of google is to pick a long tail keyword without much competition. For example, weight loss is one of the biggest and most competitive niches in internet marketing and so in order to beat the competition you will need to find a keyword or phrase that only has a limited number of search results - preferably under 1000 exact matches. So, have a think about the mindset of someone who wants to lose weight for example, someone may want to "lose the weight off my thighs". This has only a low number of direct matches (actually 3 at the time of writing this article) and only 1 paid advert for this phrase. Think along these lines with more specific phrases to suit the product and you could come up with long tail keywords that will get you a good amount of traffic. In order to make large amounts of sales and hence get a good income in affiliate marketing you need to be able to keep coming up with phrases like these and act on them so do your research or else get someone else to do it for you and you will be well set to making many sales and a great income!
